Pressable Activity Logs

Pressable Activity Logs give you the ability to track various actions taken on your Pressable account and sites within the My.Pressable.com Dashboard.

These logs are categorized into two sections – Site Activity Logs and Account Activity Logs. As the names suggest, one provides details of the activities and events taken on your Pressable site/s and the other provides you with a window into the diverse interactions occurring within your My.Pressable.com Dashboard (account).

You can access these features through the My.Pressable.com Dashboard and the Pressable API.

Site Activity Logs

The Site Activity Logs feature can be accessed from within a site’s setting page, under the Logs tab, then Activity Logs:

The logs contain details of the action along with a message adding more information about the action. It also includes the email and IP address associated with the action taker as seen below:

You can easily filter searches using specific terms provided within the UI:

A similar filtering capability is also made available via the API:

Account Activity Logs

You can access the Account Activity Logs under the profile image menu in the bottom left corner as seen in the screenshot below, under the Activity tab:

These account-level activity logs include actions such as changes to sites (creation/deletion/conversions), reports created, DNS updates, collaborator actions, etc. The logs include the User Agent, email and IP Address of the action taker in addition to the action and message describing the activity:

To ensure seamless integration, the API documentation now includes details about this new account activity feature:

The Account Activity includes details pertaining to domain/DNS transactions, but they are not included in the Site Activity Logs. This is because not every domain may be linked to an individual site and so the activity occurs at the account level.
